March Break at OPL Register now for kids and teens programs

OTTAWA — Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of activities and programs for children and teens during this year's March Break, running from March 11-16. With a week packed full of daily online programs and special events at various branches, there’s something for everyone!

Programs for kids aged 4 to 12 

The Library is offering a full week of in-person programs in OPL branches to keep kids active and entertained during the school break. 

Programs for teens aged 13 to 18 

Looking for something cool to do? Dive into our daily online workshops and special in-branch events tailored just for teens.

  • Get a financial boost with workshops by the Credit Counselling Society who offer some practical advice on financing, budgeting, and managing student loans.
  • Interested in film and television? Get an insider’s perspective on the industry with a workshop by REEL Canada.
  • Bombarded by ads about AI assistants? Media Smarts has you covered in a workshop about algorithmic literacy.
  • Roll some dice in Dungeons and Dragons one-shot adventures.
