OTTAWA — October is Library Month! This year, Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is inviting all families to nurture curiosity at their local library branch and learn more about all services, resources, and material available for them.
A full month of celebration lies ahead under the theme: “Connect with curiosity”. Join us every Saturday at 2 pm as you explore a world of wonders and stories.
- Connect with curiosity through music on Saturday, October 3 at 2 pm at Greenboro branch, and experience an inspiring live performance by Wild Remedy.
- Discover the Library's diverse collection of games and learn how games can bring incredible stories to life with Thomas Burelli on Saturday, October 10, at 2 pm at Cumberland branch.
- Get ready to explore the wonders of space through telescopes with John A. Read, on Saturday, October 17, at 2 pm at Carp branch.
- And finally, on Saturday, October 24, at 2 pm at Stittsville, Attila Mahily and Rhonda Underhill-Gray will lead you through how to build stories with LEGO.
Throughout the month of October, branded Library tote bags featuring the tagline: Connect with curiosity, will be available at all OPL branches including the bookmobile.
