A new library branch is coming to Barrhaven!

The Barrhaven Civic Centre and Ottawa Public Library (OPL) branch at 180 Riocan Avenue will be a new multi-use community hub in the Barrhaven Town Centre. The project will bring together a district-level OPL branch, cultural centre, dedicated seniors’ space, and an urban park and plaza to serve Barrhaven’s growing population. 

The approximately 50,000 square foot facility will include library collections and technology, creative spaces, and dedicated areas for seniors’ programming. Outdoor features will include a civic square, gathering spaces, and landscaped public spaces.
