The 2026 Draft Operating and Capital Budget was tabled at the Ottawa Public Library Board meeting on November 4. The 2026 draft budget will be tabled with City Council on November 12.

Members of the public can submit feedback by 
•    contacting BudgetOPLBPO@biblioottawalibrary.ca until December 2 
•    making a delegation at the Board meeting on December 2 
•    attending a Councillor-led public consultation on Budget 2026 (full schedule available at https://ottawa.ca/en/city-hall/budget-finance-and-corporate-planning/draft-budget-2026#section-3cfcaae5-1a0b-4ea4-9af1-0d43207eb526 ).

All public feedback will be shared with the Board prior to the December 2 meeting, in order to aid in deliberations and decisions.
